If you want the HD experience on your next phone, the LG Spectrum for Verizon just might be the phone you are looking for.  This phone has a 4.5” True HD IPS screen.  There are only a few phones on the market that has this feature and the LG Spectrum is one of them.  With a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, the display is in true HD and makes movies, pictures, and everything else look incredibly sharp and realistic.  With 329 pixels per inch density, this matches the quality of the iPhone Retina display technology.  The screen is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass making it scratch resistant.

The LG Spectrum is equipped with a LTE radio for true 4G speed.  If you are lucky enough to live in Verizon’s LTE coverage area, then expect download speeds  10 times faster than that of a 3G network.  It’s also capable of providing mobile Hotspot functionality to other devices.

Take crisp images with the LG Spectrum’s 8 megapixel camera with a LED flash.  Record videos in 1080p and display them or send them wirelessly to compatible DLNA HDTVs.   It also supports Dolby Digital Plus audio processing for superb sound.

With its dual core 1.5 Ghz CPU, the LG Spectrum with be quite speedy when it comes to games, videos, and loading websites that are Flash intensive.

For the price, this is a great bargain when you consider the all the features--  a huge 4.5” true HD screen, a LTE capable phone, dual core processors, and 1GB worth of RAM.  It comes stock with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but will probably get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwhich in the near future.
